Product Description &
Chemical Structure
LINESTIL® COLD SCREED ROAD MARKING PAINT (also known as COLDSTIL 2K SCREED ROAD MARKING PAINT) is a two-component, reactive methyl methacrylate (MMA)-based road marking paint within the LINESTIL product range.
During application, the base component is mixed with benzoyl peroxide (BPO), initiating a chemical reaction that causes the paint to cure and form a durable film. This product is specially formulated for application using the screed method, ensuring strong adhesion and long-lasting surface performance.
Outstanding Durability &
Night Visibility
This MMA-based paint is designed to meet the high-performance demands of road surfaces exposed to heavy wear and extreme conditions. It offers excellent physical and chemical resistance, along with a long service life.
One of its key advantages is its high retroreflectivity, which significantly enhances night-time visibility. With superior UV resistance, excellent adhesion, and high abrasion resistance, it performs reliably under harsh weather and intense traffic conditions.
Application Areas &
Recommended Techniques
LINESTIL 2K Screed MMA Paint is ideal for critical marking areas where maximum durability is essential. Recommended uses include pedestrian crossings, speed bumps, offset scanning zones, signalized intersections, warning markings, and parking lots.
It is suitable for both asphalt and properly prepared concrete surfaces. The product is applied using the screed method, with tools such as manual applicators, spatulas, or rubber squeegees (ragles).
Standards Compliance &
Application Details
This product is formulated in accordance with both national and international standards to ensure high performance and quality. It complies with the Turkish Highways General Directorate Specifications, as well as TS EN 1871 and TS EN 1436 standards.
With a fast-drying structure, traffic can typically resume within 20–30 minutes after application, and up to 30–45 minutes under certain conditions. Depending on project requirements, dry film thicknesses of 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, and 5 mm are commonly referenced.
